Power and Capability
There are two different engines available with the 2019 Hyundai Veloster. The 2.0L MPI Atkinson in-line 4 cylinder engine can produce a maximum horsepower of 147 @ 6,200 RPM and 132 ft-lbs. of torque. On the other hand, the 1.6L Turbo GDI in-line 4 cylinder engine delivers a horsepower of 201 @ 6,000 RPM and a torque of 195 ft-lbs. The 2.0L engine in the 2019 Hyundai Veloster has a fuel economy of 9.4 L/100KM in the city and 7.1 L/100KM on the highway. The 1.6L engine is also fuel-efficient with a fuel economy of 9.4 L/100KM in the city and 7.0 L/100KM on the highway.
