At first glance, the N wants you to take it to the track. It encompasses the best in terms of styling at Hyundai. It adds a unique N Design fascia, larger air intake, lip spoiler, wing spoiler, rear diffuser, and other unique trim that separates it from the rest of the Elantra family.  

The Elantra N is designed to perform

It's no secret that the Elantra N's biggest calling card is performance. It features a Turbo GDI 2.0L four-cylinder that is expected to produce 276 horsepower and a seat-sinking 289 lb-ft of torque. Add N Grin Shift (NGS), and you can temporarily boost output to 286 horsepower. Overall, the near-instantaneous response and grip of 19-inch alloy wheels will help you find the right spot in traffic or on the highway.

The N also features drivetrain and other enhancements that boost performance. The wet dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters features N Power Shift that helps you accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds. You can also opt for a 6-speed manual transmission that features rev-matching, placing your senses even closer to the race track.

The class-leading braking performance adds to the fun around curves, while the second-generation suspension increases firmness settings for stability and balanced damping for more comfort.
