We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Controller to join our accounting
team at Prairie Automotive Group. The Controller will play a pivotal role in
supporting the accounting and financial operations of our dealership. If you are a

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
Maintain accounting records, including general ledger, payroll and taxes
Reconciling accounts
Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable and accounting clerk positions.
Review sales deals and funded contracts.
Ensure month end duties are completed by the franchise deadline.
Work and collaborate with CFO to ensure an efficient and effective accounting department is maintained.
Other duties as assigned by the CFO
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment
Accounting degree or relevant work experience
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Prior experience in Automobile Dealership accounting is preferred
Experience with PBS and related dealership accounting software is an asset but not a requirement.
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
Strong Accounting technical knowledge and attention to detail
Self-driven and easily adaptable
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills and willing to tackle challenges
High level of discretion and confidentiality
